Meet Barbara


Barbara is a licensed and certified speech pathologist based in Manhattan and Los Angeles. She works on-site, in client's home or place of work, as well as using virtual sessions using Zoom, FaceTime and Skype.

She received her BS in theater from Skidmore College, studied acting with Uta Hagen, Herbert Berghof and Austin Pendelton and earned her Masters Degree in Speech-Language-Voice Pathology from Columbia University.

During her Clinical Fellowship year, she interned with Dr. Oliver Sacks.

Barbara's goal is to strengthen, reinforce and maintain the health of the professional and occupational speaking voice in order to prevent vocal injury in the workplace.

Her areas of focus include:

preventive voice care including education, training programs and voice therapy for adults and children

speech, language and cognitive therapy for neurological communication disorders.
